The model-design provides the local church with a comprehensive directional plan for action in alcohol education. The plan for action includes a Bible study, an alcohol awareness sermon, a workshop, and a continuum of concern. The model was tested in four local churches. Interviews, surveys, questionnaires and evaluation forms were used to measure the effectiveness of the model.
