- Abstract
- This project addresses the problem of finding new prospects for the Sunday school of a Southern Baptist church by evaluating the effectiveness of door-to-door visitation, bulk mail contacting, and telephone contacting as a first contact with potential new prospects. Twenty prospects from seven families were discovered in the door-to-door approach. Ten prospects from four families were discovered in the bulk mail approach. Nine prospects from four families were discovered in the telephone approach. The door-to-door approach was the most efficient approach according to the hours and dollars invested in each approach.
