- While using the patterns of morning and evening prayer as the model, this project describes what a selection of pastors have done to institute such communal daily prayer in the contexts of their ministry. The selection of pastors included liturgical and non-liturgical pastors. In addition to this investigation, the project includes a theological and historical study of morning and evening prayer and a survey of selected modern authors concerning the state of prayer in the church today. It describes the results of the author's attempt to institute communal daily prayer in the context of his ministry.
