Abstract
  • In an effort to enable Christian congregations to do something about the stated need for interfaith dialogue between Jews and Christians, a model for religious education is presented taking its cues from Thangaraj's theology of Christian mission. My thesis is that a joint, congregationally-based, educational program is an effective approach for fostering genuine Jewish-Christian dialogue. The research model used is both ethnographic and pro-active from the point of view of a participant/observer. The process and the evaluation were co-facilitated by both worship leaders. results indicate potential for application to interfaith work with Jewish and Christian congregations.
