Abstract
  • This project presents short-term missions at the Westfield Evangelical Free Church as a means of discipleship for churches to consider. It focuses on the promotion of short-term missions through a six-part sermon series that appeals for those in today's church to participate. Personal testimonies, video clips and other resources are also included. The results of a questionaire evaluating the effectveness of this promotion show that with good training, wise leadership, and proper promotion, short-term missions can be an effective means of both outreach and discipleship in today's church.
