Abstract

The central thesis of the project was that the cultural crisis of our times calls for a new vision of spirituality, community, and societal structures. The crisis of meaning that ministers experience in their personal and ministerial lives is a mirror of what is happening in the larger church and society. The qualitative research used in the report served to illustrate this fact. The conclusion is that theological reflection is crucial not only for those in leadership in the Christian community but for all the people of God in promoting the reign of God in the world.
