Abstract
  • The purpose of this project is to train leaders for the Hispanic-Latino church. The project looks at selected accredited theological institutions and Hispanic-Latino community-based training programs. It also gathers by questionnaire data from selected pastors, teachers, and students on ministry training for Hispanic-Latino church leaders. As a result all three groups of respondents (pastors, teachers, and students) believe that academic training and a curriculum grounded in the culture and experiences of our people is very important for the task of leadership training. The data collected and analyzed confirms the need for this model.
