- Abstract
- This study investigated the role that narrative research, appreciative inquiry, and missional experimentation have in helping a local church to better comprehend their role in the mission of God. A Church 360 survey was used to decipher the congregation's perception of their current missional posture. Then, focus groups were conducted to mine out missional narratives from the church's past. Finally, missional experiments were conducted throughout the community. The survey results indicated that people's understanding of their involvement in the mission of God was not uniform. Despite these variances, the remainder of the project revealed a motivation to move towards the ideals of missional life.
