Abstract
  • The objectives of this project are to provide a philosophical, theoretical and theological framework for divine encounters; to provide evidence for these encounters; and to encourage believers to be open to the possibility of experiencing a present day supernatural encounter. This is a qualitative research project with a phenomenological strategy of inquiry and was accomplished through surveys, interviews, case studies and focus groups. The hypothesis-that believers who have a supernatural or divine encounter experience increased effectiveness, fruitfulness, commitment, fulfillment and clarity of ministry focus than they evidenced before the experience-was proven to be accurate.
