  • This project concerns ecological theology as a source of church renewal and the introduction of creation season as a means of interweaving ecological theology into the life of the church. A new liturgical season, with elements of worship, music, art, education and special events, was instituted from Feast Day of St. Francis (October 4) until Advent with the theme of God's inclusive care for all. Creation season provides a sense of how ecology can serve as a guiding motif and broad context for dealing with postmodern issues. The effect on the congregation's spiritual life and sense of mission is positive.
