- Abstract
- The thesis of this project is that biblical concepts of hospitality can lead to measurable transfiguration of a congregation. The author researched biblical concepts of hospitality. Sermons and Sunday School classes focused on hospitality. The method of research was twofold: to preach and teach on hospitality, and to track the attendance and number of visitors to the congregation. The results were premature but promising, leading to the suggestion that a longer time frame is needed in order to assess the measurable transformation that has taken place due to a congregational emphasis on biblical hospitality.
