- The project will develop a ministry model to assist the Long Branch Baptist Church, Caroline County, Virginia, generate a clear biblically based mission statement. Long Branch is a rural church undergoing transition that does not have a clearly written and defined statement concerning the church's purpose. In order to develop this mission statement the ministry model consists of workshops, sermons and congregational discussions, to assist the church discover its mission. The model will conclude with the adoption of a mission statement. Development of the mission statement will determine whether or not the treatment was successful.
