Abstract
  • This thesis is three ministry tools developed out of research about the mid-sized church. Training and resourcing pastors and key leaders in the mid-sized congregation will strengthen the mid-sized church. The first is the actual research presented in this paper. The chapers defining a mid-sized church, pastor as leader, and being a mid-sized church are a guide to current and future mid-sized pastors and congregations. The second ministry tool is a resource list that is available through the Virginia Annual Conference Mid-Sized Task Force. The final ministry tool is a teaching tool for pastors.
