Abstract
  • This thesis studies the nature and meaning of the membership covenant from biblical, historical and educational perspectives. A twelve week educational course for fifteen people develops an understanding of the covenant. The research indicates that the participants realize the importance of the covenant in the reformed tradition. An educational application includes the development of a weekly bulletin insert for the congregation and a membership guide.
