- Abstract
- The author proposed to enhance the communication skills of selected adolescents and their parents of the Coteau Baptist Church (Houma, Louisiana) through the administration of this project. Three communication skills were covered in six weekly training sessions. Those skills were verbal, nonverbal, and listening. Evaluation of the experimental group was performed by means of descriptive survey methodology, simple statistical analysis, and critical pastoral reflection. Statistically significant improvement of the entire experimental population was not observed, although the parent participants separately did demonstrate measurable improvement. However, improvement was observed through other means.
