Abstract
  • This project discusses the importance of narrative sermons as vehicles for healing and wholeness in the lives of listeners. Listeners can be invited through narrative sermons to find points of connection between their lives and the lives of biblical characters. Biblical characters can serve as archetypal figures in the lives of listeners. Using two groups of listeners to test this thesis, the project finds that they are able to make connections with biblical characters through narrative sermons.
