- Abstract
- This project is part of a larger project (Project Cathedral) on church leadership. It presents reviews of literature on Christian leadership and a summary and analysis of case study research on two senior pastors in southeastern Pennsylvania. The hypothesis defines as effective Christian leader as one who maximizes his strengths, minimizes his limitations, develops in Christ-like character, and influences others to accomplish a common vision. Interviews using a standardized questionnaire, an evaluation tool, church records and documentation, and personal observation yield information that was analyzed and interpreted for support or non-support of the hypothesis. Recommendations for future Project Cathedral development are included.
