Abstrakt

The principles of cybernetics demonstrate guidance by an automatic control system. William Glasser applied this theory to psychology. Behavior is the attempt to structure life to conform to a picture constructed from many sources. Jesus proclaimed a high quality of life as the destiny of every individual. The choice to pursue this destiny is fostered by pictures of humankind as special creations of God. Textile mills structured life to foster dependency as a means of controlling the labor force. This growth-group experiment attempts to combine the pictures of scripture with the observations of Glasser to foster destiny.
