Abstract
  • In recent years there has been a renewed interest in the experience of pilgrimage. This study connects pilgrimage with the contemporary theological dialogue about Christian practices, particularly relying on the work of Dorothy Bass. The research examines one congregation's exploration of pilgrimage. The research team used a process of participatory action research to discover how the practice of pilgrimage can be a means of faith formation in a congregation, resulting in a plan of action for a variety of pilgrimage opportunities.
