- Abstract
- The purpose of the project was to train the leaders of the Wesley Methodist Church of Ghana in Brooklyn, NY, to accept and fulfill the ministry of evangelism. These trainees in turn will train the congregation to do the same. The research included the history of the Wesley Methodist Church of Ghana (Brooklyn, NY); theology of evangelism; and evangelism and the Ghanaian community. The project comprised twelve sessions involving: learning, presentation, and role-playing. In conclusion, the trainees learned that both the clergy and the laity can do evangelism.
