Abstract
  • The purpose of this dissertation is to challenge leaders to understand better so they are able to instruct others in receiving a divine encounter. I refer to this divine encounter as the 'Holy Instant'. The holy instant occurs when God supernaturally enters into the human realm of existence and reveals divine knowledge, understanding, and wisdom in order for a person or group of people to accomplish God's unique will in a particular situation at a particular time. The holy instant experience will always create a relationship of deeper trust and love towards God. The holy instant is evidence that God desires and therefore, does communicate directly with us as individuals.
