- Abstract
- This project includes a workbook for guiding laity and pastors in developing ministries of membership care. Leadership teams who use this workbook take four natural steps in creating ministries to active members, inactive members, and active non-members. This process, when used in the Peterstown United Methodist Church, resulted in a caring ministry which produced an increase in worship attendance, membership, and Sunday school. The church also successfully reclaimed twenty-two inactive members.
