- Abstract
- This study dealt with the lack of effectiveness in the church's ministry and mission which results from the unclear goals, expectations or desires of a pastor or laypeople. This lack of clarity produces a frustation in both lay people and pastors which may cause them to move from one church to another or to leave the church altogether. This project developed an eight week adult Sunday school class that explored the roles and expectations of clergy and lay people. The study brought about an increased awareness in the lay people and pastor of their mutual ministry in the name of Christ.
