Abstract
  • The Fruitbearers discipleship program exists to help believers 'abide and abound.' John 15:8, its theological centerpiece, calls us to glorify God through Christ-centered fruitful living. This is accomplished as believers develop the double fellowship with Christ through abiding and with each other through small group affirmation and accountability, for God's glory and their joy. Study and research centered on John 15 and the subjects of fruitbearing and abiding throughout Scripture. Related books, articles, classes on discipleship, and interviews were utilized. Fruitbearers effectively used fellowship to pull truth into daily living as a needle pulls thread into fabric.
