Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to train church leaders and potential leaders to act as agents of Christ's healing in the life of their local churches. Training lasted six weeks. Each weekly session involved classroom instruction, small group activity, and worship. Participants met project goals. In particular, their after-training prayers of healing for others were more wholistic and evidenced use of greater personal, intimate language in approaching and petitioning God. This method of training leaders and potential leaders to act as agents of Christ's healing has proven to be effective.
