- The purpose of this project was to enhance the project director's skill of preaching life application sermons for soldier spiritual resiliency at Warrior Chapel, Baghdad, Iraq. Following the ministry skill enhancement model, the project director researched the field of life application preaching. The project director developed a 'Life Application Preaching Annotated Bibliography' and a 'Life Application Preaching Best Practices' document. The project director then developed a four-week sermon series and preached the sermons at Warrior Chapel, Baghdad, Iraq, where the project director serves as the Baghdad Diplomatic Support center Chaplain. The project gathered a select group of subject matter experts to evaluate his sermons. With the aid of his team, the project director assessed the effectiveness of his sermon series and his overall growth in the field of life application preaching.
