Abstrait

The concern of this project thesis may be expressed in the following question: 'What happens when persons discover and share their spiritual autobiographies in a small group setting in the local church?' The primary purpose of the project has been to explore the possible contribute to be made by Christian spiritual autobiography as an exercise for nurturing the Christian spiritual life within the context of local churches. A special feature of this design involved participants in an imaginative exercise of narrating their life stories in the voice of God. The project is best understood as an experiment, therefore, in the use of the spiritual autobiographies of members of a local congregation for the benefit of those who recall and share their stories and who hear the stories of others.
