Abstrakt

The purpose of this project was to develop a discipleship strategy for First Baptist Church at the Mall in Lakeland, Florida. The project director surveyed various strategic development methods and explored current trends in discipleship, noting what was most applicable tot he current church environment. The project director then built a strategic planning team and led them in the development of a discipleship strategy for First Baptist Church based upon research results in the area of basic discipleship competencies. The completed discipleship strategic plan was presented and approved by the executive staff of First Baptist Church.
