  • The project designed and implemented a program of ministry to indigent persons through the ministerial association of San Marcos, Tx. The project involved: soliciting support of the members of the ministerial association and of the commission of social concerns of First United Methodist Church for the project; collecting data from various sources concerning the target population and the available resources; formulating a written project proposal which contained theological presuppositions, organizational structure, methods of accountability and funding procedures; collecting feedback and support of the project from the members of the ministerial association; adoption of the project by the ministerial association; and its implementation by the ministerial association.
