Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to determine if there is a need for a mentoring program in the Tuckahoe Baptist Association of Virginia by assessing the relationship of associate ministers and senior pastors. The author of this paper interviewed ten senior pastors within the Tuckahoe Baptist Association to address the lack of intentional mentoring of associate ministers by senior pastors. Currently, there is no known model for training or mentoring associates ministers. The result of this research project is a mentoring model to be used by the Tuckahoe Baptist Association of Virginia.
