- The purpose of this thesis project is an attempt to develop an urban youth ministry for the Antiochian Orthodox Church. The overall structure of this project was based on three key concepts: clarification -- identifying the problem. Conceptualization -- developing a theology for urban ministry. Confrontation -- results from pilot project and areas for further study and action. Drawing upon academic, theological and educational principles, the author, along with the learning team and pilot project, began the beginning phases of an urban youth ministry program.
