Abstract
  • Liturgy is not a pedagogical tool but it can be a catechetical opportunity. This project shifts focus from catechesis for liturgy to liturgy as catechesis. The project report describes the relationship between liturgy and catechesis and develops a process for planning a program of catechesis through liturgy including suggestions for recruiting and maintaining volunteers. Lesson plans and theological content are given for a course to train liturgical catechists. A process for liturgy planning which aims to foster the development of faith within the context of worship is also given including worksheets and guidelines for liturgy planning.
