Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to enhance the evangelistic preaching of the pastor at The Beginnings Church, Poplarville, Mississippi by developing and implementing an evangelistic preaching model. The project director studied key resources in order to determine the essential elements of an evangelistic preaching model and established a standard of research. The project director submitted the essential elements and the standard of research for review to experts in evangelistic preaching. Following the identification of the essential elements of an evangelistic preaching model, the project director developed four sermons based on the evangelistic preaching model. The project director then preached the sermons to the congregation of The Beginnings Church. The sermons were evaluated by Dr. Larry Robertson and Dr. Jake Roudkolski, two experts in evangelistic preaching, along with seven members of The Beginnings Church congregation.
