Abstract
  • The project determines the effectiveness of the self-study course method to introduce clergy to biofeedback and its applications to the parish ministry. The four section course, which covers stress theory, major and minor biofeedback instruments, and use in context of pastoral care and counseling, was prepared and tested with twenty-five clergy during a three month period. Clergy unanimously affirmed the self-study course as a practical, applicable, and viable ministry resource tool and method to introduce clergy to biofeedback.
