Abstract
  • The project describes the role of the structure of the self and its language in the reciprocal and formative influence of the self and society, especially in the dynamic of worship. Of particular interest is the issue of integrity and power of Christian worship with the problem of identifying unwanted influences in its ritual on the one hand and the problem of language obsolescence on the other. The study presents multi-disciplinary research intended to improve one's ability to constructively critique both worship and one's personal role in it. Some practical applications of the theoretical findings are reported.
