- This study examines the process by which nominalized theological terms are linquisticlly transformed from event words or nouns to process words or verbs. The context of the study is marital therapy. The possibility of denominalizing commonly used theological terms in the context of marital therapy hopes to give each member of the union additional choices over his-her communication and reconciliatory processes. Evaluation of this experiment was pursued by subjective means with an emphasis on clinical observation. While this may limit the claims that can be made, the project outcomes appear to justify the hopes expressed in the thesis.
