Abstract
  • The church needs a reformation of authentic Christianity having been weakened by doctrinal ambiguity and worldly enculturation. Leaning on the works of Jonathan Edwards and Thomas Boston, the writer proposes to lay a solid biblical and experiential foundation for genuine faith. The call is to restore for pivotal doctrines; intense affection for God, profound trust in the sufficiency of God's word, a healthy grasp of radical depravity, and the practice of seeking God to secure salvation. It is hoped that this study will help resist insidious cultural accommodation while stimulating church leaders to boldly embrace gospel power and truth.
