Abstract
  • This ministry project provides guidance and leadership in the development of a theological education program in the metropolitan New York Baptist Association. The objective of the project is to propose that the most effective approach in the theological education of Korean pastors (or English as a second language) is one using current programs in the context of the language and culture as part of the mission strategy in the metropolitan New York area. The project leader used the pretest and posttest to identify the needs and provide action plans for the needs. The emphasis here is to provide training using the current programs offered and not to create new programs. The result of the project was that the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary started an MDiv-level program for Koreans in New York City.
