Abstract
  • There are literally thousands of publications on the topic of leadership. The intent of this thesis is to explore the literature of one type of leadership known as transformational leadership, by reviewing publications from both the secular and the Christian church cultures. It becomes obvious that in order to address transformation, one must also address the changing of one's culture in making disciples for Jesus Christ. The Bible is filled with transformational leaders. Transformational leadership can be truly life-giving as a community of believers gain a passion to carry out the mission that God has called them to do.
