  • This project evaluates the effectiveness of the evangelism program of the ecumenical venture, United Ministries. It defines evangelism as 'sharing the Good News' and draws criteria for effective then is used to evaluate the effectiveness of evangelism in four historical periods and the evangelism programs of six major denominations. This information along with an overview of the United Ministries' evangelism program and a sociological overview of the Pacific Northwest suggests implications for more effective future ecumenical evangelism efforts in the region.
