Abstract
  • The thesis is on the church in Ghana with the focus on its ecclesiological implications for Ghanaian society. The theological reason for undertaking the study is the fact that the Ghanaian church is being rejected by the people due to its alienation from Ghanaian culture, specifically in regards to the ancestoral values of Akans. The evaluation tools used in the essay were Bible studies, discussions after sermons, lectures, questionnaires, and participation in worship services. In short, the project addressed the radical change which came only by way of ecclesiology deeply rooted in Ghanaian/Akan culture.
