- The purpose of this dissertation was to develop a theological basis for a healthy church, to identify possible standards of measurement, and then to apply these practical steps in a newly-established church setting. Specifically, its aim was the application of the concepts (basis, nature, ministries, organizational structure) of a healthy church to the New Millennium Evangelical Church in the Philippines. The components of this dissertation included: (1) identification of the qualities of a healthy church as drawn from its theological basis; (2) determining the ministries of a healthy church; (3) structuring the organization and leadership of a healthy church; and (4) the application of these concepts in a newly-established church setting.
