Abstracto

The purpose of this project was to help an established, plateaued church become healthy again by devising and implementing a contextualized strategic growth process. The writer highlighted the urgent need for church revitalization both nationally and locally. Special consideration was given to the unique cultural challenges at Wai'alae Baptist Church that make revitalization challenging. The author implemented a vision process that incorporated the input of the church, church and community surveys. and the work of an elected vision team. The project was implemented, the author evaluated the effectiveness, and then considered ways this project could help other Baptist congregations.
