Abstracto

This project discovered the knowledge, attitudes and actions of parishioners about the various forms of music at Bethany Baptist Church, Brooklyn, New York. A five-point likert scale questionnaire was distributed to seventy participants. The major findings were: They know the music provided helps parishioners worship God; they know that the Bible mentions singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; they believe that music is a part of worship in the Bible; they were willing to read about music as a part of worship in the Bible; and they were willing to provide information on how the music helps the parishioners worship God.
