Abstract
  • God intended for the marriage relationship to be the foundation of the Christian home. A biblical love relationship between husband and wife should provide the clearest picture of communication. If the partners have established good communication with each other during their engagement and have discussed the type of roles each expects to play, then the adjustments should be easier and the partners should be able to be more patient and understanding with each other when mistakes are made. The purpose of this project is to equip selected married couples of First Baptist Church, Conyers, Georgia, with essential marriage communication skills. The project director will accomplish this by researching basic marriage communication skills, developing a workshop to equip the selected married couples, and equipping the selected couples with essential communication skills within the context of marriage.
