Abstract
  • This study focused on church renewal by reviewing the Exodus as a model for decisive changes in church history as well as the revival in Sweden, and the base-communities in Latin America today. To discover a similar process for small groups in a wealthy country, the study cites some conditions to motivate the laity to act for renewal of the church: 1) educate and equip the laity; 2) advocate for the Bible; and 3) create a church in the midst of its unique cultural context.
