Abstract
  • The Presbyterian Church (USA) constitution outlines the task of enabling youth to become active members. From that and from a 30-year survey of Presbyterian confirmation-commissioning curricula, this dissertation asks: How faithful and effective is the 1990 PC(USA) curriculum, Journeys of Faith: A Guide for Confirmation-Commissioning? The dissertation contains an appraisal of chapters A-J, the marks of membership, and concludes with suggestions for church usage.
