Abstract
  • The objective was to use spiritual disciplines to establish a personal relationship with God to empower believers to transform others' lives as they do the work of ministry within the community. Historically, the worship experience has been the backbone of spiritual formation. The project sought to enhance that experience to aid in spiritual developemnt. The methodology used was a workshop, worship services, questionnaires, a sermon, and surveys. To evaluate the project, the author used focus groups and written evaluations. The goal was to increase the number of persons whose lives were transformed through worship and study, thus promoting church growth.
