- Abstract
- This thesis-project explored cultivating a healthy, missional church within an English Ministry becoming independent from its Korean immigrant mother church. Grounded in the missio Dei, it emphasized the church as God’s people sent to join Christ’s mission. Literature reviewed missional theology, church health, and discipleship. Methodologically, it employed a Natural Church Development survey, leadership review, and six-week training on missional living, prayer, and service. Though separation from the mother church created challenges, key elements succeeded while others required further follow-up. The study concludes that health can be measured qualitatively and recommends continued NCD assessment with a strategic, missional growth plan.
