- Abstract
- This action research pilot project used and tested The Missional Network's missional change process to assist six Canadian Mennonite pastors to develop leadership competencies for a post-Christendom context. They met for eleven sessions of four hours over twelve months. A pre and post 360 survey, correspondence, field notes and session transcripts provided data that indicated positive development of the participants' missional leadership capacities. Experimentation, cohort learning and both experienced and local coaching were among elements that contributed to this development. Several learnings will assist future iterations to diffuse a missional church culture among congregations.
